Sylfirm X

With so many devices on the market, it is important to understand what is the best and safest for your skin. The addition to Sylfirm X RF and Microneedling has been so beneficial for our patients and is providing outstanding results! With minimal to zero downtime, Sylfirm X makes for an incredible treatment.

What is Sylfirm X?

Sylfirm X is a dual radiofrequency energy and microneedling device. Microneedling is an incredibly effective collagen induction therapy. Tiny micro-injuries stimulate the body’s response to produce collagen and elastin. Radiofrequency creates heat to stimulate collagen production. The combination of the two makes for impactful outcomes!

Notably, this is the only radiofrequency device that is FDA-approved for neovascularity, such as hyperpigmentation, melasma, and rosacea.

We combine Sylfirm X with topical exosome application at the end of treatment. These are nano-vesicles that increase cellular communication and promote collagen, elastin, and growth factors!

What is dual wave radiofrequency?

Sylfirm X has both pulse wave and continuous wave radiofrequency.

Pulse wave radiofrequency coagulates the basement membrane, located within the epidermal junction and upper dermis. Pulse wave radiofrequency can help improve skin texture and treat skin conditions such as melasma, active acne, blackheads, diffuse redness or rosacea, refined pore size, and more. Continuous wave radiofrequency provides wide and continuous coagulation from the deep dermis to the upper dermis. Continuous wave radiofrequency is mainly used for tightening and collagen stimulation.

Having both of these radio frequencies allows Sylfirm X to treat a wide range of skin conditions.

What makes it different from other radiofrequency devices?

Sylfirm X creates an electromagnetic field of energy utilizing a non-insulated needle. This makes it incredibly effective at targeting the dermal layer without damaging the surrounding tissue.

What is Sylfirm X used for?

Sylfirm X can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions, including the following:

Skin laxity, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, rosacea, melasma, scarring, dullness, fine lines, creepiness, jowls, lip lines, stretch marks, and much more! Its ability to treat and prevent pigmentation while also providing beautiful skin-tightening effects makes it an ideal treatment.

Is it safe?

Yes! There have been 25 plus clinical studies on Sylfirm X’s effectiveness and safety. It is safe for all skin types.

Is it painful?

Here at GFaceMD, we apply a topical numbing application to promote maximum comfort during the procedure. You may feel a slight prickling sensation, and this should be very tolerable.

Sylfirm X is individualized, so if you ever experience pain, we can turn the settings down for you.

What are the side effects?

You may experience some redness, as well as “stamping marks,” where we do the treatment. Mild swelling and pinpoint bleeding may occur. This is expected to go away within a few hours but could last 48-72 hours.

How many treatments are recommended?

Many patients see results with just one treatment of Sylfirm X! However, we recommend at least three treatments to obtain the best outcome!
